    COACHES

    Head Coach Bubba Lemon

Bubba Lemon is in his 4th year as the head coach of the Timberwolves. Bubba is an alumni of West Valley Middle School in Tennessee.  He graduated from Tualatin High School where he played Football, Basketball, and Baseball. He then went on to play College Football, Basketball and Track at Linfield then transferred to finish his college career at Willamette University playing Football and Basketball. He coached at the collegiate level for 9 years. In his first year as a head coach, Tualatin ended the year 24-5 and won the State Championship. Bubba was named OACA Coach of the year and OBCA Coach of the year in 2023.  Tualatin had a record of 22-7 in 2023-2024 and won the Three Rivers League Championship and the 3rd place game at the 2024 OSAA 6A State Tournament.  Last year the Wolves matched the previous year’s 22-7 record and earned a 6th place finish at the 2025 Tournament, including a win over Central Catholic to avenge the semifinal loss in 2024.

    Assistant Coach Tom Duggan

Coach Duggan has coached at Tualatin High School since the school opened in the 1992-1993 school year.  He was hired by original Head Coach Rick Osborn and has coached at all levels before becoming the Varsity Assistant for Coach Todd Jukkala and now Coach Bubba Lemon.

    Assistant Coach Bobby Roberson

The coaching staff is delighted to welcome back Bobby Roberson as a Varsity Assistant Coach.  He previously coached the freshman team for three years in our program during the leadup to our current tournament streak, and four years in our youth program.  Coach Roberson played three years of varsity high school ball in Reno, Nevada, and teaches biology at Tualatin High.

    Assistant Coach Chet Lemon

Chet Lemon is joining the Timberwolf Staff this year as a Varsity Assistant Coach and Media Specialist.  He previously coached hoops at Westside Christian and helped them win the 3A State Championship last year.  He is a graduate of Jardine Middle School in Topeka, Kansas.  His athletic coaching experience goes back to 2004.

    JV Coach LJ Westbrook

Coach Westbrook, a Salem, OR native, enters his first year as the JV Head Coach here after a year as a Varsity Assistant at Tualatin.  Coach Westbrook played high school basketball at North Salem High School, where he was the #1 ranked high school player in the state for the 2013 Class.  He had a successful 4 year college career (Peru State College) which led to an 8 year professional career in multiple overseas countries where he won 3 consecutive championships and 2 MVP awards.

“I am excited to and honored to be a part of the best program in the state and to learn from Coach Lemon and the rest of the coaching staff every day.  I hope to pass down and teach our players everything I have learned throughout my playing career.”

    JV Assistant Coach Brent Johnson

During that time, he played on the Varsity team for 3 years, helping lead the squad to three conference championships and three appearances at the State Tournament. During his senior year, Brent received tournament honors while helping propel his team to the championship game against Lake Oswego.

Brent also played four seasons for Danny Miles at Oregon Tech. He was a part of the 2008 National Championship team, which was recently inducted in the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame. Brent both attended the NAIA National Tournament and won conference championships each of those years. And he received conference honors his senior year and was a two time Academic All American for the Men’s Team.

Brent works as a Senior Environmental Health Specialist for Clackamas County and is a small business owner. He is excited to be part of the coaching staff at Tualatin High School.

    Frosh Assistant Coach Bryan Holland

Coach Holland has dedicated more than 30 years to Tualatin's youth and high school basketball programs.  In addition to his coaching responsibilities, he is beginning his 26th year as the Varsity team's official scorer.  Beyond the game, his genuine passion lies in helping shape the character, discipline, and personal self-awareness of the young men he is privileged to guide and mentor.
